If you like to ride useful bikes, racks make a lot of sense. Our 24-Pack Rack ups the useable cargo space from our 8-Pack Rack, providing more real estate for more stuff: more beer, more food, more random bits from the hardware store, more whatever. It’s manufactured from Chromoly tubing and uses the same stainless-steel hardware (handily housed in a reusable Surly Tool Bag) supplied with our other rack. It offers the same height adjustability too, so you can keep your cargo close to the ground and stable. It has plenty of braze-ons so you can customize how you secure your cargo…or just light your bike up like the space station. The 24-Pack Rack attaches to most forks that feature mid-blade and crown eyelets. It gives you a stable, rigid assembly upon which you might place your burden. No one likes a sweaty back and a sore ass, so take your stuff out of that messenger bag and put it on the front of your bike.

From the people who brought you the Porteur House (Surly) comes a newer, svelter method of carrying things on your bike: the Petite Porteur House. Designed to fit both our 8 and 24 pack racks, the Petite Portuer House uses a system of six Velcro straps to securely snug it to the rack. The strap system is designed such that it will interface with many porteur-style racks with similar platform dimensions. The Petite Porteur House bag is made from durable 1050 Nylon Canvas with a polyurethane coating for protection from the elements. It uses a stiff insert in the bottom of the bag to give it shape and help keep wheel spray off your stuff. We also include four urethane coated, water-resistant nylon stuff sacks for an added layer of protection in each compartment. We've also included a handy light loop to help keep you visible and safe.
Surly's measuring stick says its 270 x 160 x 400mm so it has plenty of space for your ride necessities, tools, cool rocks, and whatever other bobbles you might feel inclined to bring with you.

Dubbed 'Straggle-Check' frame bags, these bags are designed to fit both 700c and 650b Straggler and 700c Cross Check frames. Size up one size on your bag if you've got a 650b Straggler frame and voila, it fits. These are handmade by Revelate Designs in the U.S., made of Dimension Polyant VX 21 polyurethane coated fabric. It's durable, rip resistant, tightly woven and laminated to make it highly water resistant but not fully waterproof…. Revelate advises using stuff sacks inside (such as the one in which our bags are packaged) if you risk riding in extended downpours or underwater.
Surly's Straggle-Check frame bags (as well as their mountain bags) are now using a ladder strap system, which allows greater flexibility in how you attach the bag to your frame. The ladder straps let you customize the fit and placement of the mounting straps so if you have some weird contraption clamped to your frame tubes like a chain keeper, cable pulley, or some trinket grandma gave you, it won't interfere with the mounting straps on the frame bag. They're also including foam bumpers for the mounting straps to minimize thread abrasion to the bag and attachment points
Quality YKK brand water resistant zippers – with an improved, water resistant zipper 'garage' – control compartment access and help keep the weather out. Zippers are sewn with a stretch panel to relieve stress on the zipper as well. Stress even kills zippers. The large main compartment has a flexible divider inside, and there's a hydration port to make sure your whistle stays wet. There's also a compartment suitable for smaller items you'll access relatively often, like your map, phone, hard boiled eggs, uncontained pudding, marbles for playing marbles, your dugout, that ring you found that makes you disappear when you put it on, or whathaveyou.
Frame bags such as this are light and reasonably voluminous. They are stable because they center weight low between your wheels and body, and they go places where racks and panniers are often troublesome, like singletrack.
Note: due to the rough texture of the mounting straps, prolonged use may lead to scratched or worn paint. If you're worried about keeping everything looking pristine you probably ought to look for some other type of bag, or figure a way to protect the paint, such as duct tape, or tatting a top tube doily - for example.
Designed with minimalist riding in mind, the Anything Bracket mounts to standard or Three-Pack frame bosses and works directly with the Anything Pack, allowing you to carry the essential items on the bike.
- Mounts to standard or Three-Pack bosses on forks and frames
- Bracket is constructed of lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum and padded to protect the frame
- Includes Anything Pack, mounting hardware and strap
- Anything Pack features a roll-top closure for easy access
